World's largest maker of athletic shoes NIKE Inc reported record results for the third quarter ended February 28, 2006.
Third quarter revenues increased nine percent to $3.6 billion, compared to $3.3 billion for the same period last year.
Changes in currency exchange rates reduced revenue growth by three percentage points.
Net income grew 19 percent to $325.8 million, compared to $273.4 million in the prior year.
Diluted earnings per share grew 23 percent to $1.24, versus $1.01 last year.
