Through Joga.com, participants also can connect to Nike's joga events and be a part of the Joga Bonito experience.

“Joga.com will be the only site that brings unique sports content to users through Google's technology,” said David Jeske, Engineering Director at Google.

“On Joga.com, users can connect with each other, upload photos and videos and share information about football with fellow fans from all over the world.”

Joga.com is available in English, French, Spanish, traditional Chinese, simplified Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese, Dutch, German, Korean, Italian, Russian, Czech and Thai.

Joga.com users can build their own online communities by creating individual profiles and connecting with others through easy-to-navigate pages.

Users also will have access to promotional information specific to their country, as well as the latest news on national and local teams, and information on Nike's joga3 tournaments.

An estimated 3 million players in 40 countries are expected to participate in grassroots Joga3 tournaments, which got under way in early February.

In the coming months, Nike and Google will be introducing more tools and features to help Joga members embrace their love of football and build a global community.

Joga.com, currently accessible by invitation only, will be open soon to all football lovers.
