Already in the first years following its launch the fair developed into the largest international order platform in the eastern European region. Over the past ten years CPM has constantly grown both in size and importance. And its course has also been charted for the future. Only back in March of this year the 20th edition CPM came to a successful close.
“I never thought this trade fair would see such rapid growth. Though this is not least due to our faithful exhibitors, trade visitors and business and media partners. Without their enthusiasm and courage for conquering this new market we would not have achieved this result,” said Christian Kasch, Project Manager at CPM.
From 4 to 7 September fashion will once again be in focus at the Expocentre fair grounds. An international range of over 1,600 collections from 34 countries on extended exhibition space of over 58,000 m² will once again attract trade visitors, fashionistas and journalists from throughout the world to Moscow.
‘Meet local – network global’ is the motto for the 10th anniversary event. Fashion shows, seminar programmes featuring key names in the sector, get-togethers and other highlights are just some of the events organised during the fair. Awaiting the about 19,500 expected trade visitors are four exciting and informative days of trade fair.
Already now the fair promises to be a new record event. The Premium hall is already fully booked. In the Kids segment Latvia will be featured on a joint stand. Alongside Sri Lanka and Cyprus Latvia is also one of the new countries appearing at the fair for the first time.
‘Fashion&Denim’ will be the focal theme in the Seminar Area of the Russian Fashion Retail Forum. The Event Area in Hall 8.3 will once again be host to over 40 fashion shows like CPM Selected, the Designer Pool Show as well as various Designer Shows.
The enormous potential of CPM’s target markets has been highlighted by a study conducted by the export promotion institute ITMM GmbH. This found clothing exports from Germany alone to the five most important target markets Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Azerbaijan will break through the billion-Euro barrier. This means CPM will once again prove to be an orders platform with magnetic appeal.
Next year CPM - Collection Première Moscow will be held at the Expocentre exhibition centre in Moscow from Tuesday, 25 to Friday, 28 February 2014.
