The representatives of the fashion industry from around the world will visit the Poznan Fashion Fair as early as on September 3, 2013. In three days of intensive meetings companies and brands from 16 countries will be presented, as well as the collections by young designers participating in the YOUNG FASHION FOR SALE project.

The representatives of all sectors of the fashion industry have been preparing for the arrival to the Poznan Fashion Fair for several months in order to highlight their offer among nearly 400 companies and brands from around the world. The visitors will have an opportunity to get acquainted, among other things, with brands from Italy, Germany, Spain, Brazil, the Netherlands, Greece, Portugal, Serbia and Bulgaria.

Not only clothing and footwear

Poznan Fashion Fair will consist of three professional exhibitions: NEXT SEASON Clothing, Lingerie and Accessories Exhibition, which includes the collections for future seasons; Fast Fashion Exhibition, which is designed to enrich the offer of sales with the new autumn-winter collection; and BTS Footwear and Leather Goods Exhibition. The exhibitions of clothing and accessories will be located in Hall 5, and the exhibitions of footwear will be presented in Hall 5A.

Young designers in the lead

The exhibitions will include the collections of large and well-known brands, the products of developing companies with an established position in the market, as well as the projects of beginner brands that are perfectly suited to the current market demand.

The exhibitors will include as well the franchisors who enable the people from outside the industry to start their own business. Young designers will also make their presence felt at the fair. The benefits of attending the trade fair events are noted by Anna Regimowicz-Korytkowska, PhD, a designer and lecturer in the Fashion Design  and Stage Design Studio at the University of Arts in Poznan:

- Graduates participating in the fair have an opportunity to confront their works with other designers or clothing companies that have been operating for a very long time. Through the contacts with professionals in the filed, they often initiate cooperation in very different areas.

I believe that for young people nowadays it is important to be present at the fair, but also after the fair, I mean here the reports of the shows, so that the collections presented reached the largest possible group of people in order for the designers to become noticed, she says.

This view is shared by the organizers of the Poznan Fashion Fair who during the autumn edition focus particular attention on the promotion of young and talented designers:

- The growing level of works by young fashion designers convinced us to take the decision to extend the offer for people starting their professional careers. The result of our efforts is a new project, YOUNG FASHION FOR SALE, where young designers will have an opportunity to present their collections at the stands and on the catwalk.

The aim of the project is to assist in establishing business contacts through intensive promotion of young brands and new names in the industry among the manufacturers and traders from Poland and abroad, explains Edyta Bonin-Kanikowska, the Director of Poznan Fashion Fair.

During the first two days of the exhibition, visitors will have an opportunity to participate in free lectures and seminars that will be conducted by renowned experts in the industry. The subjects discussed will include, for example, e-marketing, modern sales techniques that increase sales or the coordination of PR activities in foreign markets. The lectures for all persons interested will be organized at the Speakers' Corner, located at the entrance to Hall 5.
