The team members wearing T-shirts, with the Stylecracker logo printed on them covered all aspects of dressing up right from wardrobe and hair to make-up which brought forth the final look. Hosted by the Stylecracker Hood Team, the event took place at The Source, during Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2013. 

A group of energetic youth were part of the team that provided their expertise in creating the right image for the participants.  An influx of buzzing students and youth were spotted, and the event was filled with an air of excitement. Audience was being treated to a special service brought by the Stylecracker team.

The team created an upbeat atmosphere with loud thumping music and colour coded decor of streamers across the ramp, amongst the designer garments that were picked straight from the runaway. They displayed a one-stop destination to get the complete customized designer look put together in a short span of time.

The designer wear comprised both women’s and men’s wear in traditional attire and western wear. The traditional garments had a wide range of the most gorgeous Anarkalis, ghagra cholis, saris and salwars/kameez sets. Maxi dresses, short creations and casual tops were chosen for the western wear for the ladies. The men’s wear included smart casuals which were designed by Kunal Rawal, the hot shot designer for many Bollywood stars.

The team helped everyone put their designer garments together near the changing rooms. A Lakmé hair and make-up expert unit was also present giving special attention to participants who would require a certain look with their outfit, which would enhance their personalities and complexions. The hair was styled according to the look and everything from fishtail braids to messy buns and wavy curls were covered during the styling process.

The young men were not ignored either, leaving them with new hairstyles to flaunt when they wanted to make that fashion statement. A few runaway accessories comprising jewellery, shoes and bags were also exhibited.

Jewellery designers Akaliko showcased their much sought-after gold jewellery adorned with precious stones. On display were also many beautiful varieties of colourful, beaded and metal jewellery which kept the audience quite intrigued.

The team picked out their favourite looks off the runaway at Lakmé Fashion Week and personally showed different ways to wear it. The make-up allowed everyone to look their best and ready for the runway. 

A fashion photographer was also present, clicking beautiful shots of the new looks on the ramp created by the Stylecracker Hood Team. The pictures clicked will be shared on Stylecracker Hood’s Instagram account.

A few Lakmé Fashion Week designers such as Aartivijay Gupta and buyers were spotted in the Talent Box area, eager to see what the excitement was all about as there was a large crowd gathered for the event. Stylecracker Hood merchandise such as badges was also available. A complimentary voucher of laundry services for bags, shoes and clothes was also given to the audience.

The overall purpose of the event was to create breathtaking runway looks and make everyone feel like a star for a few moments. The Stylecracker Hood event proved to be an incredibly huge success leaving everyone with a photographic memory of their new look and goodie bags filled with something for the sweet tooth.
