Canadian fashion show to benefit emerging designers

The inaugural show will highlight a cast of local Canadian based talent including the launch of new Canadian brands including the much anticipated Mayana Genevière collection. Mayana Genevière's high luxury intimate apparel brand closes the gap between high fashion lingerie and maternity undergarments.

The show will also highlight some new designs by TetianaK clothing, highlighting her 2013 fall collection with the theme of nerdy, sexy, cool and bookish. Guests will be visually quenched by the smooth, yet edgy, styles of both designers with pieces that will resonate with any audience member for a lifetime.

This year's designers and sponsors include: Hangrz.com, Inspire Cosmetics, Mayana Genevière, Tetiana K, RisKandy, Boa, La Stylist, Stella & Dot, White Lace Events, Norman Felix Art Gallery, Benjamin Daedfyshe Footwear, Bite Bar, Curio Print, , Popcorn Studio's, Yeh! Yogurt & Café , Safe Mortgages and DivaCup.

All participating designers and brands are working on this collaborative event that will showcase two separate, fast paced, runway shows utilizing pieces from the brand sponsors to accentuate their designs.

The show will open with special guest comedian, and local celebrity, Jay Clapham entertaining the crowd through a night of surprises. Scheduled for the nights events are special art performances by well known local artists and the runway show will conclude with a silent art auction for the VIP's in attendance.

The after party will begin promptly at 9:30pm and will have promotional prize giveaway's of platinum Toronto Argonauts tickets, a ball signed by the Toronto Argonauts team and pictures with the Argonauts cheerleaders. The event will not only have a signature drink for the night but expect to see the first ever hangrz.com signature frozen yogurt.
