Leaders of the Asia Pacific region, alongside the diplomats from Russia, walked in shimmering shirts at the recently concluded second summit Photo op fashion parade of Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum.

Held in the capital city of the Sultanate of Brunei, Bandar Seri Begawan, the APEC fashion show featured several shiny apparels, decorated with a traditional flower motif, created by one of the world’s richest men, the Sultan of Brunei, Hassanal Bolkiah’s office.

The US Secretary of State John Kerry, who was representing President Barack Obama at the summit, and Premier of the People's Republic of China, Li Keqiang, were seen in blue and crimson hued shirts at the event.

The forum additionally witnessed the 29th Sultan, who is also the incumbent prime minister of the oil-rich country, in an olive coloured shirt.

Earlier, the first AEPC Photo op fashion parade, which took place in Indonesia during the first week of October, 2013, saw the politicos in Endek shirts made from Balinese textiles that were handed out by Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.

The previous editions of the summit had witnessed the leaders in a variety of interesting outfits, such as leather bomber jackets, given by President Bill Clinton in Seattle (1993), Blue-and-gold South Korean silk Hanboks in Busan (2005), flowing silk ao dai tunics in Hanoi, Vietnam (2006), and Drizabones and Akubra Hats in Sydney (2007).

Started in 1989, Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum aims to promote free trade and economic cooperation among the countries located in the Asia-Pacific region.
