‘Protective lumberjack clothing meets Samurai garbs’ was the idea behind fashion label Elus’s catwalk, staged on the fourth day of Brazilian revelry Sao Paulo Fashion Week.

Made from leather, wool and denim fabrics with different treatments and washes, the collection featured designs inspired from mountain sportswear and ancient Japanese warriors. Decorated with sequins, crystals, embroidery and beads, the Adriana Bozon designed black, gray and red coloured pieces included pockets, leather straps and buckles adorned utilitarian jackets, kimono style square coats and dark and heavy wet-look jeans.

Cavalera, the apparel brand led by Alberto Hiar, staged an interesting show with Arabic dancers on board. Infused with Islamic fashion sensibilities, the range featured both men’s and women’s apparels, delicately mixed with a hint of punk styles.

Made from leather, denim and wool, the womenswear ensembles included tailored light and airy Arabian dresses paired with veils, shorts, jackets, tunics and sweatshirts featuring prints of Aladdin's lamp, the hand of Fatima, camel  and tiles. The collection also offered long shirts and tunics, adorned with trinkets and metal tassels, for males.

Apparel brand Triton featured its latest winter-2014 catwalk parade on the third day of the Latin American soiree. Based on a bold palette of strong colours like orange, canary yellow, black and various shades of grey, the collection included a variety of sportswear-inspired outerwear, pants and shorts of various lengths.
