Alessandra Ambrosio, the famous Brazilian fashion model, is all set to foray into the world of design.

The 32-year-old Victoria’s Secret spokesmodel has collaborated with the southern Californian brand Planet Blue to launch a new collection.

Titled as ále by Alessandra, the sensual feminine range, which will be exclusively available at Planet Blue stores from March 17, 2014 onwards, is made from hand-dyed tie-and-dye pure silk fabric.

Adorned with laser cut detailing, fine embroidery and paisley, floral and feather prints, the line features short and long dresses, ruffled skirts, peasant blouses and knits.

Other than designing the collection, Ambrosio has also modelled in some of the ensembles, such as a long sleeved dress with deep plunging neckline, a pair of high-waist shorts teamed with a matching crop top and a fringe-hemmed see-through white caftan.

Founded in 1995, Planet Blue clothing stands as a symbol of the laidback bohemian beach culture that California is known for.
