The China Leather Industry Association (CLIA) is organizing a Leather Fashion Day 2014 on March 26, to release the leather fashion trends, coinciding with the first day of the 2014 China (Qingdao) International Fashion Week.

It is for the first time that the China leather industry would be holding the Leather Fashion Day and releasing the fashion trends.

China has a long history of development of the leather industry, but entrepreneurs have now come to realize that lack of innovation and design homogenization have become barrier for further growth of the industry. Hence, the Chinese leather industry is currently paying attention to upgrading the level of designing and getting to know the pulse of global trends.

The Leather Fashion Day mainly aims at bringing the concepts of world designers on design, fashion and colour trends back to China. The Day will also function as a stage to release international trends for the benefit of the Chinese leather industry.

The schedule of the first China International Leather Fashion Day includes the release of leather fabric trends 2015, and special seminars on Italian designer shoes will be held in Beijing.

To connect manufacturers and suppliers with buying houses and fashion brands, Fibre2fashion.com is coming up with an online fair on Leather Skin Show 2014” scheduled in Mid March-2014.
