The Children's Fashion Cologne (CFC), which will be staged from 10 to 12 July 2014 in Cologne, is on course for further growth: Countless labels have already confirmed their participation in Cologne three months before the event actually begins. This summer the EK/servicegroup from Bielefeld is going to make its debut appearance at the CFC.

The internationally operating trade cooperation will present its entire KIKO collection and mobilise its approx. 600 members from this sector. "We opted for Cologne because we have confidence in the event," emphasised Peter Bierhake, CEO of Sütegro GmbH, the Fashion Division of the EK/servicegroup. "We therefore recommend industry players to also use the CFC as a platform and to support the fair's further positive development into becoming a central order event for children's fashion in Germany," Bierhake added.

In the course of its second edition at the beginning of the year, the Children's Fashion Cologne established itself as one of the most important sources of inspiration and order platforms for children's fashion in Central and Northern Europe.

International market leaders, renowned designers and trade visitors from all over the world will be represented at the third edition of the Children's Fashion Cologne at the exhibition grounds of the Koelnmesse. The organisers anticipate an increase in the number of exhibitors and are expecting around 300 brands to participate in July 2014.

The second edition was able to clearly exceed the results of the CFC premiere in July 2013. At the beginning of the year over 260 brands participated at the CFC on 13,000 square metres of exhibition space - at the debut event 184 brands were represented. Both the exhibitors and the visitors confirmed that the trade fair is a compulsory source of inspiration and buying platform, which in addition to the presentation of new collections also offers an informative supporting programme with daily fashion shows and specialised lectures.

Kathrin Robertson, Key Account Manager Germany, Levi's Kidswear and Absorba "We welcomed customers from Russia, the Ukraine, Libya, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates and from all over Europe to our stand and numerous orders were placed. Furthermore, a team of producers from Turkey visited us. From Germany all of the major companies such as for example Peek & Cloppenburg Nord, Lengermann + Trieschmann or Baby Walz attended as well as medium-sized retailers and even smaller boutiques. The Children's Fashion Cologne was thoroughly worthwhile for us."

Andreas Schulz, Sales Manager Junior, Pepe Jeans London "Countless orders were placed with us during the Children's Fashion Cologne and we successfully used the fair to win over new customers - both on a national and international basis. Our good result underlines once again the fact that the trade fair certainly has a future. Germany needs a central business and order platform for children's fashion and Cologne is precisely the right location."
