Designer Gaurang opens 4th fashion store in Bangalore

Award Winning Textile and Fashion Designer known for his magnificent, inimitable 9 yard saris and luxury hand woven Garments opened his high-end couture store in a vintage house with a sprawling garden, a perfect site to showcase his timeless collections in the Garden City. 
 
The store located at Lavelle Road near UB City is designed to enchant the people with its opulence in simplicity. With his sensibility of kalamakari, Gaurang beautifully translated it onto the walls of the store conceptualized by Gaurang. 
 
The launch collections of GAURANG feature his best known 9 yard sarees woven in the jamdani weaving technique that include khadi, uppada, benarasi, kota, paithani, kanjeevaram, and many other classy Indian heritage fabrics. Each one of his hallmark collections are woven by his handpicked weavers from across India with varied textures using yarns like muga, tussar, silk, khadi, organza and maheshwari.
 
Talking about his new store Gaurang said, "This is a result of the love Bangalore ethnic fashionistas gave for my line of Indian heritage fashion garments during my last few shows". “This store will offer our customers a singular experience and the opportunity to shop an exclusive and premium new GAURANG collaborations and experiments found nowhere else” Textile and Fashion Designer Gaurang says.

GAURANG Bangalore, is the 4 store in India by Gaurang after creating the Vaya Brand in Mumbai, GAURANG began to expand his label Gaurang Stores in India. His first store was set up in Hyderabad in 2013. Bangalore will be the second after which he will be opening stores in Kolkatta and in Mumbai.
 
His new store will showcase the widest collection of straight cuts, afghani cut kurtas, kalidaars, ijhar pants, saris in kalamkari, chikankari, khadi, silk, bandhani, shibori, batik, venkatgiri, maheshwari, chanderi, parsi-gara, zardosi and fabric manipulations.
 
Ethinic fashion consumers can also expect a khadi kalidaar with kalamkari and chikankari, or a beautiful maheshwari dupatta teamed with a simple khadi kurta, alongside the kalamkari infused with chikankari that takes a painstaking time to create.
