Japan's Kolor joins Adidas for Autumn/Winter 15/16 line

The German multinational corporation Adidas has joined forces with the Japanese fashion brand Kolor to create a new performance-based apparel and footwear line for Autumn/ Winter 2015-16 season.

Due to be available online and in-store from sometime in September, 2015, the technical range incorporates the sportswear giant’s signature high-end fabrics and breakthrough technologies along with the menswear brand’s unique cuts and fashion-forward vision.

Created in clean, effortless cuts, the wearable apparel line is made using Adidas’ revolutionary performance technologies like Climaheat and Climachill that helps regulate body temperatures thereby allowing an optimum level of athletic performance.

The 22-piece collection includes a smart T-shirt jersey and a futuristic-inspired hooded jacket crafted from mirror ripstop fabric with asymmetrical closures. The footwear features the trademark design aesthetics of kolor combined with Adidas’ Boost technology with the industry’s highest Energy Return.

Founded by Tokyo’s Bunka Fashion College grad Junichi Abe in 2004, Kolor products are known for its modern designs and careful attention to details. The brand creates an optimal balance with every aspect ranging from craftsmanship and unique cuts and fits, to a subtle and leading-edge approach to design.

Established in 1924, Adidas designs and manufactures sports clothing and accessories. The company has been supplying apparels for the some of the world’s best athletes, including the past legends to today’s superstars, such as Dwight Howard, Derrick Rose, Damian Lillard and John Wall.
