Based on feminine silhouettes, the line displayed godet skirts with pleated silk and wide origami-inspired sleeved tops, and textured woven dresses worn under straight, long oversize wool coats enhanced with large jacquard-style geometric patterned shoulders.
Created in a neutral colour palette along with a contemporary sensuous dash of ethnic and colourful components, the womenswear collection’s tartan pieces are made in black-and-white and gray or beige combinations topped with brighter hints of fuchsia and teal.
The long, traditionally-cut coats were worn over lightweignt silk dresses with experimental cuts accentuated with matte textures of wool and shiny lamé.
Presented at New York’s Lincoln Center, the catwalk show also highlighted classic menswear pieces including coats, sport coats, suits and sweaters in a typical wintery palette occasionally splashed with some daring hues. (PB)
