The seminars particularly have been refocused to meet the needs of the vast majority of visitors who are from the domestic industry.

The show is returning to the NSE Complex, where it was held from 2001 to 2003. But the organisers have taken care to ensure that the services will be of a significantly higher standard than in the past, with the GJEPC having invested in creating permanent infrastructure within the complex.

For the smooth running of the show, special teams will be appointed to supervise and oversee special areas like the Accident Security Planning and Prevention Team, the Structural Engineers, a Catering Planning and Supervising Team etc.

Over and above all this are the massive pro-motions that have already been launched. Road shows have been held in Vicenza, Istanbul and Hungary and a huge campaign is planned for Baselworld, where the IIJS will be publicized at five booths in the India Pavilion, besides a special press presentation.

With ads in key publications and special CDs mailed to key buyers in Europe, the expectation is that there will be a much bigger turnout of foreign buyers than ever before.

All in all IIJS 2005, promises to be a very special show. One that has something for everyone associated with the Indian jewellery industry.
