ispo summer 05 begins Sunday in Munich

- World Championship of Climbing 2005: More than 500 of the world's greatest climbers will compete July 1-5 in three disciplines in this prestigious event, which is being held in conjunction with ispo for the first time. Numerous American stars are in the field.

- Board Sports Village: For the first time, six North American and European titans of the board sports industry – O'Neill, Billabong, Quiksilver, Protest, Chiemsee and Exes ˆ are joining forces in the center of board_ispo. Their collective pulse will add to the already strong energy of the show.

- ispovision: The sports-inspired fashion show returns with a strong emphasis on America's Cup 2007 and its associated yachting community, along with golf and other leading-edge sportswear. Also included: The prestigious Global Sport Style Award, part of the GQ Night.

- ispo BrandNew Award: Eight category winners and more than 30 finalists from 10 different countries will showcase their winning products at the Brand New Village – products that reflect the future of sports and sports design.

- Summits: Once again, ispo will feature three major summits of manufacturers, retailers and promoters within the respective sports: board_ispo skate summit, Nordic Fitness summit and ispo in-line summit. These events peer into the future of the industry through the eyes of those who create it.
