Kate Mason is the latest addition to the g-mo team, and since her arrival, g-mo has placed a heavier focus on woman's footwear. Her love of shoes and a keen eye for successful fabric and colour combinations, combined with Grandt's design knowledge have culminated in the production of the female range consisting of a pump, open-backed and closed-back shoe, a strapped sneaker, and a boot – all of which have been met with immense enthusiasm.

SA Fashion Week was born (9 years ago) out of a need to showcase the abundance of fashion talent that was going unnoticed in South Africa. Last year SAFW was significant for two reasons: firstly, SA fashion design came of age and, secondly, SA business saw for the first time a viable industry developing.
