Fur has no alternative…really?

1 min read

Fur was big this season at most shows, including in Paris and New York, where major brands including Valentino and Christian Lacroix displayed fur-filled fashion.

Animal activists and protestors continuously barged onto the runways, condemning the promotion of fur.

Several top designers stubbornly supported the use of fur, saying that this exquisite material had no alternative.

However, many like Stella McCartney keep from using fur in their collection, instead emphasizing the use of wool, cashmere and silk.

PETA supporters staunchly believe that fur is for animals and not for humans.
