Carlsbad based lifestyle products marketer Spy Optic Inc announced the unveiling of the Magneto Motocross goggle, a breakthrough goggle that is poised to set a new standard in motocross racing goggles.
The Magneto utilizes patented Scoop Ventilation Technology, advanced optical engineering principles, and introduces Spy's revolutionary, Selectron removable face foam system.
Integrating extensive testing and feedback from dozens of professional riders, including Spy professional Motocross athletes Jeremy McGrath and Kevin Windham, Spy's product design focus revolved around three critical issues: integration of Spy's powerful Scoop Ventilation Technology, introducing a new optical benchmark in goggle peripheral vision, and creating a proprietary, removable face foam system.
The Magneto features patent pending, Selectron foam, a completely removable and replaceable face-foam system that allows riders to select foam that best matches the contours of their facial features. In addition, Selectron foam enables riders to easily replace sweat-saturated or aging foam for a renewed, fresh, custom fit.
The Magneto will initially be offered with two Selectron foam systems. The race-ready, Pro Series low profile foam system has been engineered for a firm fit, maximum peripheral vision, and accepts patented, SAS pads (Sweat Absorption System). The SuperPlush face foam system utilizes soft and pliable foam for everyday riding.
The low profile, optical geometry of the Magneto allows for a maximum field of vision. The sweeping view through the oversized, anti-fog-treated, polycarbonate lens allows for a true, panoramic viewing experience.
