The third edition of the Texbrasil Circuit has already completed half its itinerary. The textile consultants from four countries have already been to São Paulo and on May 17 they were in Santa Catarina getting to know the products produced in the cities of Blumenau, Jaraguá do Sul, Sombrio, Tubarão, Criciúma, among others.
The delegation will now head towards Minas Gerais and then Rio Grande do Norte. In Blumenau, the Circuit is a partnership involving ABIT and APEX-Brasil.
With nearly 80 businesspeople, the consultants gave lectures about their countries in the morning at the Sesi Auditorium in Blumenau. Argentina, Italy, Portugal and Spain took turns to transmit their main information about the textile and apparel sector in their countries.
“I found all the lectures very interesting. I paid close attention to all of them. However, I thought the Italian lecture was the richest in details, and they were also much more dynamic,” declared Diego Vargas, from the Via Sul apparel industry located in Sombrio, more than 400km from Blumenau.
According to Vargas, who also participated in the Showroom to show the consultants his products, these same Italians analyzed his collection and recommended he intensify the mix of fabrics, colors and patterns if he wished to export to Italy.
“I am going to take advantage of every tip they gave me to create a new brand with products specifically for the international market. I do not export yet, but I want to begin soon.”
