Solo Mobile presents Marc Ecko's 'Getting Up' Festival now more affordable thanks to million dollar gift from Fashion Designer Marc Ecko.

Toronto-Based Youth Organization to Benefit from Free Ticket Donation.

To thank Canada for its support of the Ecko Unltd. brand and to ensure as many people as possible experience one of Toronto's premier concert events, Marc Ecko, fashion designer and founder of Ecko Unltd., announced at a media conference today that he is personally making a million dollar gift to reduce ticket prices for Solo Mobile presents Marc Ecko's 'Getting Up' Festival happening August 13 and 14, 2005 at the Polson Street Pier (@ the Docks).

As of today, fans purchasing tickets to the event will find a 50 per cent reduction in ticket prices. Existing ticket holders will receive two-for-one admission to the event. All they need to do is show up at the event with their ticket and a friend and contact on-site event hospitality.

"This is a big thank-you to Canadians for their support of Ecko Unltd. I want to make sure that everyone can experience this high-quality music event that celebrates Toronto's urban multicultural lifestyle," said Marc Ecko, fashion designer and founder of Ecko Unltd. "That's why they have decided to provide 6,000 tickets for Toronto's youth so they too have a chance to attend one of the summer's biggest events."
