Marc Ecko's 'Getting Up' Festival by Solo Mobile on Aug 13-14

Solo Mobile presents Marc Ecko's Getting Up Festival is a two-day cultural and musical experience that will include a variety of attractions encompassing the hip-hop lifestyle. The festival will include live performances by the world's leading recording artists including Kanye West, Ludacris, Busta Rhymes, NAS, Lil Jon, Ciara, Fat Joe, Mos Def, Swollen Members, Kardinal Offishall and Rascalz and more.

Ecko donated six thousand tickets (three thousand for each day) to BLOCKHeadz (Building Links on Community Korners) for distribution to disadvantaged Toronto youth. BLOCKHeadz is a non-profit community organization for youth (from adolescence to early adulthood) both in and out of the school system. Using education and entertainment, the organization's mandate is to help young people establish themselves in the field of their choice.
