The Paraná Business Collection was held July 23-26 with the objective of showcasing Paraná fashion apparel quality and creativity.
In a joint effort by the State of Paraná Federation of Industries (FIEP), Sebrae / PR and textile and clothing unions, the event included 11 fashion shows and a business showroom with 22 clothing manufacturers from around the state. ABIT participated in the event through the Texbrasil Program and the support of APEX-Brasil.
“The event mobilized institutions, unions and entities around a common objective: strengthen the state as a production center and launch collections for the season,” comments PBC coordinator, Nereide Michel.
The PBC also made room for introducing ecologically correct work. Students from Fashion and Stylism courses at several learning institutions in the state produced the “Responsible Fashion” exhibit. Altogether, ten looks were produced from reused materials and renewable raw materials.
The date for the 2008 edition of the Paraná Business Collection has yet to be defined.
