Manolo Blahnik, one of the world's most prominent fashion designers in women's shoes, translates Marimekko Mini-Unikko and BonBon patterns into one of his favourite themes for his spring/summer 2008 collection.
The collection took influences as diverse as the architecture of Constantinople and Finnish Marimekko patterns.
“The two just happened to fall perfectly into place – bizarre as that combination may sound,” says Blahnik.
The shoes will be available from around January onwards in Manolo Blahnik stores in London and New York.
