From long time Iran has been associated with richness, beauty and glory. The royal culture and heritage of Persia has always attracted people from diverse fields of life, get enchanted by its mystifying qualities.
The Iranian women are famous across globe for their beauty. But their facination with jewelry and make-up even existed in third millennium BC. This has been confirmed by archaeologists, who have found instruments of make-up and ornaments in various caves of the region.
Nearly ten thousand year old discoveries from various caves, especially Mazandaran's Huto, Kamarband and Kermanshah's Bisotoun, show that women and men beautified themselves with shells and colourful stones.
Pearls and other semi-precious stones have been discovered from Burnt City, and it can be made out that the inhabitants were aware of the fact that ornaments added to the beauty.
All these findings shatter the myth of modern era, that it's only the present time which has attracted people to Gems and jewels. However it can be said that beauty bug had bitten our ancestors long back, and we have carried their legacy very well.
