Big 5 Sporting to report fiscal 2007 Q4 results on Feb 28

Big 5 Sporting Goods Corporation, a leading sporting goods retailer, will announce fourth quarter fiscal 2007 financial results on Thursday, February 28, 2008, after the market close.

The Company also will hold a conference call and audio webcast to discuss these results and provide additional comments and details.

The conference call and audio webcast is scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. Pacific (5:00 p.m. EST) on February 28, 2008. The webcast also will be broadcast live over the Internet at company's website.

The call will be archived and accessible on the same website for 30 days following the call. Visitors to the website should select the "Investor Relations" link to access the webcast.

Big 5 is a leading sporting goods retailer in the western United States, operating 363 stores in 11 states under the "Big 5 Sporting Goods" name.
