Olympic theme mirrors in 999 mt long bridal gown

In order to catch up with the Olympic wind, businessmen are brainstorming. Recently, a unique 999 meters long Chinese wedding gown with strong Olympic theme was displayed at Tianxing Roosevelt Central Hall. This is one of this year's wedding fashion trend display activities organized by the Association of Wedding Preparatory Committee in Dalian.

According to introduction, this marriage gown was carefully designed by renowned Asian bridal clothes designer Ms Chen Fu Mei. The bridal gown is red in colour, which took over three months to be completed, all by hand. Its design concept cleverly integrated Chinese costumes cultural elements. It is cultural belief that the figure of '999' symbolizes the concept of infinity.

It also conveys the opening date and time of the 29th Beijing Olympic Games at 8:00 of the evening of August 8, 2008h through hand embroidery of 29 auspicious phoenixes, 888 beautiful peonies on the sweeping trains of the gown, and 2008 delicate natural jades inlaid around the skirt edge, reflecting the heavenly stars.

After the exhibition in Dalian city, this gorgeous wedding gown will travel around the world for a tour exhibition visiting many countries including Japan, the US, and Britain.
