Two separate ranges which were revealed to the audience not only by professional models but also by celebrity mums and dads accompanied by their off-spring are aiming at a client who wants to create a fine balance between their professional and personal lives.
The day wear men's range showcased pants based on denim which showed many contemporarily modified versions of essentially Indian trouser styles such as jodhpurs and breeches.
The well corresponding tops were designed keeping in mind classic Indian silhouettes. There were kurtas with collar variations, bandhgala coats, sherwanis and shirts put on stage.
The leading theme was inspired by colourful patti and batik work. Apart from the denim based structured lowers, the uppers and outerwear was kept in vivid colours such as maroon, indigo blue, deep red, olive and bottle green.
The second story which was showcased included saris for the evening. Traditional festive colours such as bright orange, purple, cool aqua, ruby red, fuchsia and emerald green were decorated with well spaced out sequined “boutis” and affluently embellished borders.
Anant the collection by Shobhna & Vijay Arora definitely confirmed that fashion is a concept for all of us.
