JCPenney to receive shoppers at new store in Columbia

The 103-year-old retailer has proudly served Columbia since 1925 and the new store will contribute approximately 150 jobs to the city's economy. JCPenney at the Village at Sandhill will operate Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Fall Store Openings
The Columbia store is one of 10 new JCPenney department stores opening this fall. On October 7, the company is also celebrating openings in Jonesboro, Ark.; Southaven, Miss.; Green Bay, Wis.; Fayetteville, Ga.; North Tampa, Fla.; and Katy, Texas. On November 5, three additional stores will open in Goodyear, Ariz.; Friendswood, Texas; and Copley, Ohio.
