India to set up bonded leather plants on domestic grounds

Germany, France, Italy and India are some of the key players in the production of bonded leather and related goods.
Recently, IFCOMA, the Council for Leather Export (CLE), India and High Commission of India in Bangladesh jointly organized the exhibition to showcase a two-day long 'Buyer-Seller Meet Cum Exhibition' on Indian footwear components and accessories at the BCFCC.
A total of 45 Indian shoe accessories manufacturers and exporters participated in the show.
