CFW to sponsor 4 brands at Tenda fashion in Lisbon

At the invitation of Embratur and BrasíliaTur, Capital Fashion Week (CFW) will take four brands from Brasília to exhibit at Tenda Fashion for Rock'n Rio Lisbon, on May 30 and 31. Organized by Márcia Lima, a businesswoman from Brasília, CFW has basically economic characteristics.

Successfully held since 2005 in Brazil's capital, it began having two editions in 2008: one in March – Pocket Edition – and another in September.

The event is an opportunity for brands and stylists from the midwest to present their products to the national and international market, valorizing the region's production.

Ever since its creation, it has promoted strengthening and better positioning Brazilian brands in the market, increasing consumption, revealing new talents and creating space in communication media for local fashion.

The brands that exhibit in Lisbon include 100% Cerrado, Cocada, Talentos do Brasil and Cia do Lacre. The choice of these brands was motivated by the quality of their products, the cooperative work they develop and mainly their concern with environmental sustainability.

100% Cerrado is an association comprised of artisans, seamstresses and embroideresses coordinated by stylists Sandra Maria and Sônia Reis.

The idea of the group is to valorize and disclose the Cerrado's natural resources, as well as promote the local community.

Committed with the generation of jobs and income, the brand also preserves nature through the reuse of all waste generated in creation.
