“Super Transpiration” footwear from Geox

Geox officially enters the sportswear sector with its fi rst collection of footwear that will ensure “super transpiration” thanks to the new NET System patent.
After revolutionizing the leisure and urban footwear market with the first sole that “breathes”, Geox is well on its way to developing its new mission: to also guarantee maximum breath ability in sports footwear.
After four years of research in its corporate laboratories, the Montebelluna group is presenting its new NET System patent, a technological attribute which is applied to a new line of sports footwear that will release the sweat produced by the foot sole during intense physical activity.
The brand expression NET from the English synonym of “mesh”, sums up the new technology: a “net sole” coupled with a waterproof, breathing membrane that will ensure “super transpiration” for maximum health and comfort.
Until now, major innovations in sport products were for improving the athlete's performance. This new Geox technology comes from different research and a different mindset.
Regardless of winning or losing race, our feet have to be able to breathe. Perfectly aligned with previous Geox technologies applied to urban footwear, Geox applies the same healthy ethos of transpiration to the sports shoe.
“We are creating sport that breathes” declared the Geox president, Mario Moretti Polegato, during a preview press conference.
“This is in response to demands from our consumers, who are now used to their feet 'breathing' in our shoes, and are seeking the same benefits for their sportswear.
