Coach Inc confirms Janet A. Carr as SVP (CISP)

New York based retailer Coach Inc, a leading marketer of modern classic American accessories, announced the appointment of Janet A. Carr to Senior Vice President, of Consumer Insights and Strategic Planning (CISP), effective immediately.

Carr joins Coach from Gap Inc., where she held the position of Vice President, Consumer Insights and Strategic Planning for Gap International. At Gap, Carr was responsible for focusing on business performance and consumer needs and identifying practical strategies to drive financial results for Asia, Europe and strategic alliances across all three Gap brands. Prior to this role, she was Vice President, Strategy and Business Development of Banana Republic.

"Janet's intellect and strong track record of working with Executives to evaluate business opportunities and develop strategic, practical approaches to maximize them make her a valuable addition to the Coach management team," said Lew Frankfort, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Coach, Inc.
