Fashion Jewellery & Accessories Fair kicks off

Asia's Fashion Jewellery & Accessories Fair - June opened yesterday and runs until 22 June in Halls 3, 5, 6 and 7 of AsiaWorld-Expo, occupying 22,000 square metres of exhibition space.

This year, the Fair brings over 510 exhibitors from 26 countries and regions. Participating countries and regions are Australia, Austria, Canada, mainland China, Egypt, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, Netherlands, Philippines, Samoa, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and United States.

Products on display include bead jewellery, glass jewellery, natural material jewellery, plastic jewellery, belts and accessories, hair accessories and fashion jewellery materials.

Pavilions for mainland China, France, India, Italy, Korea, Philippines, Spain and Thailand are included in the Fair to showcase the product specialities of theses countries.

In addition, the Third Edition of the Asian Fashion Jewellery & Accessories Design Competition has been successfully concluded.

The competition aims at offering a platform for Asian designers to develop their creativity and at recruiting more talented designers to work with the industry.

Winners from both Amazing Group and Crystal Group will be officially announced during the Awards Presentation Ceremony and Cocktail Reception of Asia's Fashion Jewellery & Accessories Fair - June.

The winning pieces and all final entries are being displayed at AsiaWorld-Expo during the Fair as well as presented by catwalk tonight at the Cocktail Reception.

"The June Fair was launched in 1998 and is a well-known international trade fair dedicated to the fashion jewellery and accessories industry in Asia, bringing industry professionals worldwide together to conduct business and extend business contacts," said Celine Lau, Director of Jewellery Fairs of CMP Asia.

"As an all-inclusive buying event, the Fair will definitely satisfy every buyer's needs and therefore we expect more and more buyers will come to visit the Fair."

Product Display For Fashion Accessories Section:
A fashion accessories section is featured in Hall 6. Exhibitors in this section present their stylish products, including belts, hair accessories, handbags, headwear and scarves at the Fashion Bar in Hall 6. Buyers are welcome to visit the product display and preview the newest fashion accessory items.

Seminars:
1. Presenting ideas on the project "Go Green Philippines" and how to go eco in the fashion jewellery industry, a seminar organised by FAME Foundation Philippines Inc will be conducted during the Fair.

It is envisioned that the "Go Green Philippines" project will help revitalise, replenish and preserve natural resources with the support of FAME Foundation members as well as foreign buyers, as a way of contributing to a sustainable environment and inculcating corporate social responsibility inthe fashion jewellery industry.
