Gap Brand appoints Charlotte Neuville, new head of Design

Fashion company Gap Inc announced Charlotte Neuville is joining the company as Executive Vice President of Design and Product Development for Gap brand. Ms. Neuville will oversee all aspects of product design and development for the brand's adult men's and women's apparel and accessories and will report to Gap President Cynthia Harriss. Ms. Neuville will be in her new role effective October 17.
The company also announced that Pina Ferlisi, Executive Vice President Gap Design, is leaving the company effective today.
Ms. Neuville joins Gap Inc from New York & Company, where as Executive Vice President of Design, she led the design team's creative direction for women's apparel. Prior to her nine-year tenure at New York & Company, Ms. Neuville held senior design positions at Cygne Designs, Jones New York Sport, Adrienne Vittadini, and Perry Ellis. In addition, she had her own successful apparel collection.
Ms. Harriss informed that with more than twenty years of design experience, Charlotte has a strong and proven ability to interpret style and provide leadership in product development. They're excited to have Charlotte working with their talented design team to deliver Gap's fresh, casual, American style to their customers.
