Saks Incorporated to release Q2 results on Oct 17

Retailer Saks Incorporated ('Saks' or the 'Company') plans to announce results for the second quarter and six months ended July 30, 2005 on Monday, October 17, 2005 before the market opens.
Management has scheduled a conference call at 9:30 a.m. Eastern Time on Monday, October 17, 2005 to discuss second quarter results.
Saks Incorporated operates Saks Fifth Avenue Enterprises (SFAE), which consists of 55 Saks Fifth Avenue stores, 50 Saks Off 5th stores, and saks.com. The Company also operates its Saks Department Store Group (SDSG) with 181 department stores under the names of Parisian, Younkers, Herberger's, Carson Pirie Scott, Bergner's, and Boston Store and 53 Club Libby Lu specialty stores
