Fashion boutique Madison comes to The Promenade

Madison – a trendy women's fashion boutique with several locations in the Los Angeles area, including Malibu -- brings its unique brand of retailing to The Promenade at Westlake with the opening of Madison Westlake. The store features fashion forward women's clothing, shoes, handbags and accessories.
“Our Malibu store draws not only from the local beach community but also from Westlake Village, Agoura Hills and Calabasas, so it made sense to expand into the West Valley area to better serve these customers,” said Mark Goldstein, owner of Madison.
“Located at the corner of Westlake and Thousand Oaks Boulevard, The Promenade at Westlake is a vibrant outdoor shopping and entertainment destination and an ideal location for our new store.”
Madison's exciting ready-to-wear collections will include Pucci beachwear, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Tory Burch, Vince, See by Chloe, Elizabeth and James, Ports 1961, Miss Davenporte, 12th Street by Cynthia Vincent, YaYa Love and Paul & Joe to name a few.
Denim and T-shirt collections will include J Brand, Current Elliot, Paige, James Perse and Splendid. Shoes will feature collections by Chloe, Yves St. Laurent, Givenchy, Giuseppi Zanotti, Fiorentini & Baker, Golden Goose, and Tory Burch, and there will be handbags by Marc Jacobs, Marc by Marc Jacobs, See by Chloe and many others.
The 2,500 square foot boutique is designed to reflect a certain Manhattan chic with its dark gray polished concrete floors contrasted against matte red oak shelving and metal hanging rods, oil-rubbed to a rich patina. The seating area, set in the center of the store, features Danish black leather and rosewood furniture from the 1950s with shoes displayed on machine-aged metal shelving from the 40s.
“We constantly monitor consumer tastes and trends in fashion and lifestyle to ensure that our properties, like The Promenade, provide customers with the latest and most appealing options,” said Jennifer Gordon, vice president of events and public relations of Caruso Affiliated, developer of The Promenade at Westlake. “Madison Westlake will bring the hottest designers and accessories to the West Valley's fashion conscious woman.”
The Promenade at Westlake set the standard for the retail industry when it was introduced in 1996. Caruso Affiliated is in the process of completing a phased program of property enhancements that are adding more space, introducing new design elements to its award-winning Mediterranean styled ambience and bringing fresh new retailers, such as Madison, to the center.
