JD Institute of Fashion Technology introduces young talent

JD Institute of Fashion Technology once again introduced the young talent to the industry with their recently concluded JD Convocation Award-08 at the Sirifort Auditorium. With all the emphasis on the Younger Designers' and a new Design Council in the making, this Convocation was a further step in the betterment of Indian Fashion Industry. The Diploma Students of 2007-2008 Batch of Jewellery, Interiors and Fashion Design were awarded with the Diplomas on this occasion.
Present on the occasion were the renowned Fashion Designer Anju Modi, Eminent Jewellery Designer Alpana Gujral and Managing Director Mr Madan Kukreja of Super Fashion India, as the Guest of Honor.
Speaking on the occasion The President Chandraakant Dalal said, "Its been 20years and, we feel proud for the designers like Rocky S, Shane & Falguni, Urvashi Kaur, to name a few who, have been a benchmark in Fashion Industry. Their association as a student with JD is an example of the quality the institute believes in."
The Guest of Honor Alpana Gujral was mesmerized and said, "It feels great to see that immense talent is booming in this country. These young pass outs have great opportunities as the design industry is expanding gradually. The training provided at JD Institute of Fashion Technology shall help these student designers' to make their foothold in the field."
Speaking on the Occasion the Executive Director Mr R C Dalal said, "It's my pleasure to see these students getting awarded with their Diplomas. I wish them all a great future ahead and I believe with their talent they shall achieve the success that they aspire for."
The Eminent Fashion Designer Anju Modi said, "The rigorous training from Institute like JD proves the worth and the level of dedication they have. I wish the students for their future and look forward to some great contributions to the Fashion Industry from this young talent."
To initiate the industry bond, Mr Madan Kukreja said, "The industry undoubtly is expanding and is always looking for talented fresh designers'. The Jediiians who are passing out surely are going to be a great advantage to the industry. I wish them success in their life."
The event was concluded with the falicitation of Ex Jediiian Aanchal Gulati Nath, Sachit Talreja, Shovik Bose and Nitika.
