Ferré Milano to open five stores in Poland by end of 2009

The Gianfranco Ferré brand is expanding worldwide through the opening in 2008 and 2009 of new boutiques and in-store shops featuring the Ferré Milano and GF FERRÉ collections.

The retail strategy begins with three new locations in China: a 100-sqm shop on the ground floor of the Lavant Mall in Guivang, a 130-sqm one at the International Trade Center in Zhangzhou, and an 80-sqm at the New World Department Store in Changsha. It continues with a Ferré Milano women's corner at Harrods in London, then concludes with a 140-sqm boutique on the first floor of the Klif Mall in Warsaw and subsequently five more Ferré Milano stores in Poland by the end of 2009.

The brand's presence in London, an undisputed world luxury shopping capital, is increasing thanks to the decision to flank the Gianfranco Ferré boutique with a Ferré Milano Donna location at Harrods, the city's premier department store. The 40-sqm shop will open in the prestigious Dress Circle Area on the first floor, directly across from the Champagne Room.

The severe interior design mostly in soft hues makes an ideal backdrop for the Ferré Milano world. The modular panel system with glossy pearl gray lacquer surfaces gives the boutique an unmistakably elegant atmosphere, rich and bright, while also affording the utmost in practicality: clothing racks may serve alternatively as shelves or as mirror-display stands for eyewear, belts and scarves.

As for the young line, the opening of a GF FERRÉ corner at the Dubai International Airport represents Gianfranco Ferré's brand retail consolidation and growth in the Middle East. In fact, in Dubai, there are already one Gianfranco Ferré boutique, one Ferré Milano and four GF FERRÉ.
