'A Fair' - To be held in Antwerp from February 8

“Sex, drugs & rock 'n roll” is the inviting slogan for the next edition of the Antwerp Fashion Fair and AFAIR. This international fair takes place during A FASHION WEEK, where fashion professionals, fashion lovers and creative talent meet.
February 8 and 9 2009, Antwerp Expo is the setting for the dazzling fashion happening tailored to the needs of fashion professionals. On the pretext of “Are We Having An A fair?' the symbiotic bond between Antwerp and the world of fashion is tightened again. This is why for A fair, Antwerp, the city by the Scheldt, was the perfect and most logical spot in the Benelux from where to conquer the rest of the world.
Last season during the Antwerp Fashion Fair, A Fair first introduced a new Entrepot part that proved very popular among visitors. Because of its huge success, it will be re-launched bigger and better next time.
This stand will again be centered around very big wooden chests in a fitting setting of old chesterfields in different colours and sixties lamps giving it a very informal atmosphere. Entrepot will, even more so than before, focus on denim and jeans.
During the A Fashion Week, A Fair is again very prominent with three totally different concepts; the high-quality range, the trendy fashionable middle class and jeans wear range will be amply on show. A Fair shows 350 collections for both men and women and accessories for Fall/Winter 2009/10.
This makes A Fair the most important fashion fair in the top segment. With its 12.000 m² area, Antwerp Expo offers the exhibitors the space they need to show their collections the best way possible.
A fair also developed a new concept for this season. The concept is based on a seventies luxury hotel and breathes an atmosphere of sex, drugs and rock & roll. The campaign picture shows carpeting on a hotel floor, littered with red pumps, black men's shoes, sexy pink lingerie, a full ashtray, a fallen over wine glass, lipstick, a small mirror.
Everything is slightly more risqué this time around. The full interior of this luxury hotel is available at the Antwerp Fashion Fair where animation is also provided. The goal of A Fair is to bring all fashion professionals together in a two-day event of luxury, lifestyle, creativity and … FASHION of course!
