Raghavendra's collection to mirror economics & politics of times

When Raghavendra Rathore decides to move left…it's a seismic shift! The colour sensibilities at the Rathore show were dark and somber, though there was enough bling and drama to remind us that it was, but a fashion show.

Rathore in his element presented an eclectic collection in gabardine wool, rich silk, flowy fabrics and leather belts and pants. Rich coloured prints added the symbolic life to the predominantly tailored collection.

The show began on a somber note, with dark dramatic lighting and heavy cymbals creating a mood which was immediately dispelled by the happy detailing on the garments, and the interspersing of happy reds and bright blues.

The inspiration for this collection was the current economic showdown all over the world. It was emphasised by the cuts and stitching lines and had a unique trend-setting appeal!

Left Aligned was a timeless collection and a positive reflection of the current state of the world.
