The 6th edition of Première Vision Moscou was held the 11 and 12 March at the Manege. The salon presented Russian fashion professionals with a unique, highly creative offer of fabrics and accessories for the spring summer 10 fashion season.

A window onto international textile creativity, Première Vision Moscou affirms itself as a major meeting point for the Russian fashion market thanks to fabrics and fashion accessory specialists who outdo each other in presenting ingenious and quality products, so that Russian designers can realise collections full of creativity!

This edition brought together 79 exhibitors presenting collections for the men's, women's and sportswear markets. At the close of the two days, the salon had registered 1,135 visits, an increase of 6% over the March 2008 session. In the context of a global economic crisis affecting all countries, buyers answered the call! In their search for new fabrics, visitors favoured timeless high-quality products and highly
creative products.

In the buyers' own words
“I attended the Première Vision Paris fair as well as the Moscow one. It is smaller but it is useful to see those exhibitors I hadn't had time to visit at the Paris fair. Moreover, some of the exhibitors called me before coming to Moscow and invited me to the fair to discuss some additional business points.” Olga Shaagi, head of purchasing department, Valentin Yudashkin Fashion House, Moscow.

“Première Vision Moscou is very useful for those companies, including small and mediumsized manufacturers, that don't have the opportunity to go to Paris. Larger manufacturers are visited directly at their offices by weavers presenting their latest collections, but at the fair we also find new ones. I think that the fair will grow, and even has to, in order to answer the Russian market requirements. The growing interest in the Moscow fair can be seen in the exhibitors' point of view as well.” Irina Zotova, general director of the men's line, Slava Zaitsev Fashion House, Moscow.

“The principle aim of our visit to Première Vision Moscou was to meet the suppliers with whom we have been working for a long time now. The fair provided a great opportunity to meet them face-to-face and discuss some business issues. As for new contacts, we met one new company whose product offer we really liked.” Ianis Chamalidi, designer, Ianis Chamalidi fashion house (Saint-Petersburg, Russia).

“Thank you very much for the invitation to Première Vision Moscou. I liked the fair a lot and found a lot of useful new contacts. I would like to see even more accessories' manufacturers showing next time, especially decorative zippers, snaps etc.” Olga Golubeva, designer, Shantal' (Saint Petersburg, Russia).
