German jewelers to present updated lines at JCK

The Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi), the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA), the Federation of German Jewellery, Watches & Clocks, Silverware and related Industries and the Federal Association of the Precious Stones an Diamond Industry have pleasure of welcoming you to the Official German Presentation at the JCK Show 2009 on 30 May – 2 June, 2009, Las Vegas.
It is an honour to participate again at such an important event as the JCK Show Las Vegas.
The quality of German products that is worldwide associated with the slogan “made in Germany” constitutes the basis of the excellence reputation which jewellery and silverware from Germany has been enjoying in 160 export markets around the globe. The success is due to an unique comprehensive training system a high level of technology and decades of experience.
Germany`s jewellery and silverware, watch and clock industry conciderated in a few cities an almost unique feature in Europe. Over 400 companies of the jewellery, silverware and watch industry are located in the jewellery center of Pforzheim, the so-called “city of gold”, bordering the Black Forest where about 70% of German jewellery and watch are manufactured. Innovative design and permanently updated lines that always seek to satisfy the ever-changing customer requirements have enabled these trades to stay on top of the market.
The German gemstone and diamond industry has its centre in Idar-Oberstein. The City has achieved a reputation which is described by the biggest international trade magazine Jeweler's Circular Keystone as "the world centre of coloured stones". Up to date the term "Idar cut" stands for perfect quality gems. In 1997 Idar-Oberstein celebrated its 500 year anniversary of "gemstone cutting".
