Verena Malta to join cpd team

Verena Malta (37) will be joining the team at Düsseldorf's womenswear fair cpd with immediate effect. As International Senior Product Development Manager she will assume co-responsibility for modernising, building and growing cpd. Holding a degree in business administration she will report to Mirjam Dietz, Executive Director Fashion.

“We have been able to recruit a proven womenswear expert in Verena Malta. With many years of experience under her belt she knows the market very well and boasts extensive contacts in the industry,” said Philipp Kronen, CEO of the Igedo Company.

“This addition to our sales team allows us to maintain an even more in-depth dialogue with our customers and be even closer to the market with our activities. I am confident that Verena Malta will provide plenty of positive impulses for cpd. We very much look forward to cooperating with her,” he added Verena Malta has been an integral part of the fashion community for years now. As a Sales Manager for the Bread & butter trade fair she was responsible for marketing exhibition space and international customer canvassing. She was also in charge of German sales in her role as Senior Sales Manager at Patrizia Pepe and Hugo Boss.

The next cpd will be held from 7 to 9 February 2010.
