Cricket player, Virendra Sehwag walked the ramp for designer Rocky S. in Kolkatta Fashion Week (KFW) – II, sending the audience into ruptures.
Wearing a hand-woven sherwani suit, country's dashing opening batsman walked very confidently on the ramp.
Designer Rocky told the media that the cricketer was happy with the attire he was wearing and was completely relaxed in that.
While talking about his new collection with media, the designer said that he focused on colour and textile-based comfort oriented fashion wear this time.
In order to make the collection more wearable and comfortable, the designer tried to keep it very light, he added.
The designer, drew inspiration from the culture of Kolkatta and designed his collection in hand-woven and colourful textiles, which are popular among the people in Kolkatta.
Besides, he used silk, hand-woven fabric adopted from Benaras and linen in his collection.
Replying to a question, on the choice of selecting Sehwag for his collection, Rocky S. said that the popularity of sports in India made him choose a cricketer to showcase his collections.
