Kimberly Cole and EM & Co present emerging LA talent

L.A.-based Singer and Performer Kimberly Cole supports emerging L.A. talent at EM & Co fashion show featuring collections from three local designers: Queenie4ever, Ventidue, and Helles. The live-streamed fashion event taking place on Wednesday, October 14, from 7-11 pm, marks the fourth anniversary of EM & Co as well as the launch of its online boutique.
The runway show, hosted by Kimberly Cole, currently one of most rapidly-rising emerging artists whose Twitter fan base nears 1 Million, will be streamed live on Goldenstyle Live.com, to nearly 2 million viewers around the world. All the looks in the show, including Kimberly's outfit, are styled by fashion stylist Dalit Gwenna. Singer/Actress Brittany Flickinger returns to her modelling roots for this event, as one of the runway models.
The Queenie4ever collection, designed by 17-year old Tatiana McLane, is heavily inspired by Japanese pop culture and Harajuku street-wear. The Ventidue collection of leather pieces, designed and produced in L.A. by Italian designer, Barbara Rosin, accented by Helles jewelry, presents a sophisticated rock-and-roll vibe.
EM & Co's motto has always been 'think global, act local', as it brings collections from designers around the globe while actively promoting L.A. artists and designers. For the first time ever, EM & Co joins the two by having the fashion show being streamed globally over the internet. EM & Co's online content partner, Agenda Magazine, will also be airing interviews and footage of the event online, to its 500,000+ subscribers.
"This is the perfect illustration of our motto 'think global and act local," says EM & Co founder, Eveline Morel. "You can have a local fashion show featuring L.A. designers be watched around the world. What's more, you can have the rest of the world talk back to you, instantly. So Barbara, the designer of Ventidue who's now in Italy, can be at the show, and even do a live interview during the event."
EM & Co, a West 3rd Street boutique, supplies fashion-conscious shoppers with a well-orchestrated mix of fashions from world-class designers (i.e., Vivienne Westwood, Iodice, JC de Castelbajac, Beatriz), as well as innovative styles from emerging L.A. talent. Featuring over 30 lines from around the world in its gallery-like space, EM & Co is also an active supporter of local talent, hosting monthly art exhibits and other events featuring local artists and designers.
