Marie Saint's new venture into designing wedding dresses

May '10
Marie Saint Pierre, launched her Wedding line in December 2009. Marie designed 40 wedding-themed dresses that immediately impressed Canadian Buyers. The line was exhibited at the Salon de la Mari?e Wedding Tradeshow in Montreal. Known for her sophisticated and modern style, Marie designed timeless dresses that appeal to a wide variety of couture conscious brides. The big surprise is that the dresses come with full length slips allowing many different bustier combinations.

"It all began with a dress and a passion for beautiful, well-designed garments that speak to elegance, refinement, and style" says Marie. Her love and knowledge of fashion, dress making and design have all culminated in the ultimate fashion experience for any woman – the wedding gown. Steering away from ostentatious creations, the designer stays loyal to her minimalist style. Slim elegant silhouettes, flowing fabrics and simple adornments create a more classic look. "Simplicity and ease - dresses that look easy to wear and are not stiff and formal - is what describes my collection" says Marie Saint Pierre who lives in Canada with her husband and two kids."

Fashion designer Marie Saint Pierre established Marie Saint Pierre Design Inc. in 1987 and has been considered one of Canada's great design icons ever since. She is also a charity founder and an independent spirit. Marie Saint Pierre graduated from LaSalle College in 1986 as one of the most promising fashion-design students in Montreal.
