PREMIUM Exhibitions GmbH is looking for in its announcement of the PREMIUM WINDOW DRESSER AWARD 2010.

The award is being supported by the BDS (European Central Union of Visual Marketing/Merchandising) and media partners SPORTSWEAR INTERNATIONAL and Wear Magazine.

Anita Tillmann: “The idea grew out of a necessity. The window is the first contact with the customer and we have the feeling that this subject has been neglected, especially in Germany. The aim is to support emerging creative talent, just as we do with the PREMIUM Young Designers Award.”

The shop window is the display window of retail trade. The flagship of each and every store.

Image is appearance, it's presentation, it's showing yourself – and the most important thing for a window dresser is not his budget, but his wide-ranging knowledge of fashion, the milieu and clientele of the store, as well as his creativity and courage. Because that's exactly where his ideas are developed from.

The best three will subsequently receive a theme and budget and will each have the chance to design a window of the PREMIUM F95 Fashion Store in time for the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin in July 2010.

from June 28 – July 3, 2010

Window Watching
from July 5 to August 2, 2010 – voting on site and online through the websites of PREMIUM, F95 and Facebook
