Jean Paul Gaultier and La Perla, sign a deal

Jean Paul Gaultier has inked a deal with luxury lingerie company, La Perla. Gaultier has been designing innerwear-inspired looks for about 30 years now, and his products include corsets, tops and dresses, suspender belts on the outside and the like.
Gaultier's this unique theme has been in demand for generations, with designers John Galliano, Dolce & Gabbana and recently, Antonio Berardi, and others setting this unique theme as part of their trademark looks.
More so, with icons like Bettie Page, Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Katy Perry and Kylie & Co, turning lingerie in to mainstream fashion, the deal between Gaultier and La Perla has come in the right time.
Alain Prost, Chief Executive, La Perla stated that, following their meet, both Prost and Gaultier sparked off pretty well in their conversations, owing to their common vision on beauty, taste, quality and style. It was then that, they decided to venture out this collaboration adventure and unite their tastes.
This new range will include a waist-cincher corset, extra-high briefs and bodysuit and bras inspired by the famous cone style. The same will be available from November in department stores and price range will commence from about £400.
