Michelle Mone, the founder and co-owner of a Scottish lingerie firm, MJM International, recently announced that her firm would launch a collection of reasonably priced bridal gowns, in 2011.
The Ultimo Couture Bridal Collection dresses would be exclusively put up for sale in the Debenhams outlets across the country, since January, and will be sold at a price varying from £300 to £400.
The collection initially would comprise four gowns designed by international fashion house Escada's former design head, Brian Rennie.
Mone said that, various materials like Chiffon, satin, silk and French lace were all used to prepare these dresses, and in spite of that they are cheaper than regular wedding dress. No compromise is done as far as the quality of the wedding dress is concerned.
She further said that, she is very eager about the collection, and that the would-be brides too will be excited about it as the collection hits the market. In spite of being classy, enduring and latest in fashion, all the dresses are within the affordable range.
